Drugs and
Divorce
You often reminisce in past times, thinking of
all the great times you had with your spouse. Life was good;
you both had great careers, a beautiful home and good
health. This is quite a few people but then there is that
one tragic event that turns you and you family’s life
around. There are many marriages that end in divorce every
year because of the use of drugs; it’s not talked about much
because as most of us know money is one of the top reasons
of divorce, which over shadows the drug divorce rate. Drugs
can completely take over someone’s life and make them seem
like the living dead. Drugs in marriages
often trigger mental and physical abuse, rape, and violent
outrages.
It is important to get your spouse help as soon
as possible, to try and save the marriage. This means some
how, some way getting them into a rehab facility. Sometimes
this isn’t an option; you then must stand up and use tough
love. You can have them backer acted, or even put in jail. I
know, no one wants to see there spouse or family put in jail
but the facts are that the jails also offer rehab for drug
users and maybe this will give them a wakeup call. Once
clean for an extended period of time you should carefully
watch them and there behaviors. Sometimes you have to move
and get away from your surrounding areas. Try joining a
church and getting your spouse more active in healthy
community events. Getting your life partner back is not easy
but can be done. Love is arguably the most powerful force on
earth, show them love and follow some of my tips and you
should succeed.
